Data protection conditions

The non-profit association “Sky Laser Training Center” offers additional training programs, within the framework of which there is a need to process personal data of clients.

The Training Center is committed to protecting the personal data of its clients. In this regard, Data Protection Conditions have been developed that regulate the collection, storage, processing, use, disclosure and transfer of customer data. Personal data is processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, as well as the Personal Data Protection Act.

Collection of personal data

When registering for training and providing services, the staff of the Training Center usually collects the following personal data:

  • first name, last name;
  • personal identification code;
  • phone, e-mail, address;
  • learning needs;
  • preferences related to learning conditions.

This data is necessary for the Training Center to register a client for training, conclude a contract, prepare training materials, as well as to transfer information to third parties (for example, the Unemployment Insurance Fund) and issue documents. Since the Training Center has submitted a notice of business activities in the field of additional education, it is required to comply with the Law on Adult Education. According to this law, the certificates and certificates of the center for additional training comply with the standards of additional training and contain the name and personal code of the client (§ 3, part 3, paragraph 1). Personal data is collected on the basis of the Law on Adult Education, standards of Additional education, the Law on Income Tax and the Conditions of organization of the Training Center.

Processing of personal data

Data processing is carried out to the extent necessary for the provision of services, in compliance with the principle of minimization, based on the Law on Personal Data Protection and other legal grounds. The Training center can use clients’ contact information (email, phone number) to send marketing notifications and training offers. If the client does not wish to receive such offers, he can refuse by sending an e-mail message.

Storage of personal data

Personal data is stored in accordance with the procedure established by the Center for additional training, observing the principle that data is stored for as long as they are necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected, or until their storage is legally required. Data on certificates and certificates issued by the center are stored during the life of the center, as recommended by the Ministry of Education and Science. This allows customers to order duplicate documents. To protect personal data from unauthorized modification, processing or destruction, the Training Center uses organizational and information technology security measures, as well as prevents unauthorized persons from accessing devices used for data processing. Encrypted communication channels are used for data transmission.

Transfer of personal data

The Training Center cooperates with various third parties, including the Unemployment Insurance Fund, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Tax and Customs Department and partner organizations. According to the law, the Training Center is required to transfer personal data to government agencies. Personal data (name, email, phone number) is also shared with teachers, as it is necessary for conducting training.

The client’s rights

  • to receive information about which personal data has been collected and processed;
  • to correct or supplement your personal data;
  • to request the deletion of your personal data (if it does not contradict the law);
  • revoke consent to the use of your personal data (for example, for marketing purposes).
